HOW TO GET THERE

UNSER BAYERN is located in the north-east of Munich, tucked away in a small village where visitors find themselves in rural and pure Bavarian countryside.

While our village is connected to the regional bus network, we strongly recommend bringing your own car. A supermarket, bakery and local butcher are a 5 minute drive away.

All international car rental companies have an office at Munich airport.

Taxi transportation can be arranged with our trusted taxi service, also on short notice. A fair estimation of cost from Munich Airport to UNSER BAYERN is EUR 45.

By plane – Munich International Airport (MUC) is 20 minutes away.
By car – A93 (E53) motorway exit 8 is 10 minutes’ drive away.
By train – The nearest international railway (ICE) station is Munich Airport (20 minutes’ drive) or Munich Central station (45 minutes’ drive). The regional train station in Freising can be reached within 15 minutes. Local trains to Munich leave from Langenbach, which is a 10 minute drive away.

SHOPPING

• A supermarket, butcher and bakery can be found in Haag an der Amper – a 5 minute drive away.
• A variety of supermarkets can be found within 10 minutes’ drive.
• Freising, a 15 minutes’ drive away, is the next biggest town, offering all shopping facilities.
